Yi-Chun Chen (YCC), PhD
Principal Investigator
Education: YCC received a BSc (Laboratory Medicine) from Taipei Medical University, MSc from the University of Connecticut (Cell Biology), and a PhD from the Indiana University School of Medicine (Cellular and Integrative Physiology). She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of British Columbia, before joining the Department of Anatomy, Physiology, and Pharmacology at the University of Saskatchewan as an assistant professor.
Trivia: YCC enjoys endurance sports and bitter drinks (such as black coffee and IPA).

Liam Stanley, BSc
Lab Technician
Education: Liam received a BSc from McGill University, and has extensive research experience from his Co-op placements at BC Cancer Agency, BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, and McGill University. Liam is instrumental in getting the lab up and running.
Trivia: Liam has had 14 teeth removed

Golgi and Fishball
Lab Mascots
Education: Golgi the Australian Shepherd graduated from a Puppy Class at PupStart.Dog in Vancouver, and has received additional agility training. Fishball the Persian cat was home-schooled and knows how to type.
Trivia: Golgi runs like a mountain goat on trails, and enjoys praises and petting from humans. Fishball has higher recall success rate than Golgi.
